Getting around
- tap HOME
- HOME: the sound, its engine and a scope.

- On a page: previous / next page of its family; on HOME: tempo.

- Settings menu; OCT- closes it.

- Lock a held layer open; any other button (not PLAY, REC, OCT) closes it.

- GLOBAL (BPM, SWING, CLICK, TUNE), MASTER, TUNING, SYSTEM, MIDI, MIDI 2.
- hold GLO+white key 16
- Tap tempo.
- hold FX
- FX and SAVE are no layers: held, the keys still play.
Playing
- turn PRESETS
- Next sound (on HOME and SAVE > PRESETS): every engine, then user presets.
- turn ALGORITHM
- On HOME: jump to the next kind of sound (BASS, PAD, LEAD, KEYS...).
- tap OCT-
- Octave down (OCT+ up, up to 3); both together: back to 0.
- tap SEL
- SEL: ROOT, SCL, QNT (WHITE: the scale on the white keys), CHORD; SEL 2: TRN, STRUM, VLEAD.
- hold SEL+any note key
- That key's note becomes the ROOT.
- hold SEL+turn KNOB 1
- One-key chords: TRIAD, 7TH, 9TH, SUS4, POWER (KNOB 2 scale, 3 QNT, 4 transpose).
- hold ARP+any note key
- Note repeat on the grid (recorded as ratchets).
- tap ARP+turn KNOB 1
- Arpeggiator MODE (15, TURNG among them); ARP 2: HOLD, SPICE page: SPICE / DICE.
Sound
- turn KNOB 1
- On HOME: KNOB 1-4 are the engine's main controls (HYBRID: CUT, RES, M1, M2).
- tap EDIT
- EDIT 1 / 2 (engine), VOICE 1-3, MACROS, LAYER, MORPH, RANDOM, UNDO; tap for next.
- tap ENV
- ENV (ATK, DEC, SUS, REL), ENV DEST, ENV 2, ENV 2 LOOP.
- tap LFO
- LFO, LFO DEST, MOD, LFO 2, LFO 3, MATRIX (12 slots), MOD SEQ, MOD SEQ 2.
- tap EDIT+turn SELECT
- MACROS: BRITE, TIMBR, MOTN, SPACE on every engine.
- tap EDIT+turn SELECT
- UNDO page: back through 16 changes; KNOB 2 CMP: ORIG / EDIT.

- LAYER page: MODE OFF, LAYER, SPLIT, MULTI (KNOB 2 sound, 3 split, 4 level).

Sequencer / patterns
- tap PLAY
- Start / stop.

- Playing: record now, on top. Stopped: arm, the first note starts.
- hold REC
- Hold 2 seconds: clear the pattern.
- hold SEQ+white key 1-16
- Set or clear steps 1-16 (black keys 1-4: pages).
- hold SEQ+hold white key 1-16+turn KNOB 1
- That step's note (KNOB 2 velocity, 3 ratchet, 4 nudge).
- hold SEQ+turn KNOB 4
- Pattern length (KNOB 2 step size, KNOB 3 swing).
- tap SEQ
- NOTES: KNOB 1 the note, 2 pitch, 3 length, 4 force; the keys write the step.
- hold EDIT+any note key
- Erase that note from the pattern.
- hold EDIT+turn KNOB 1
- Shift the pattern (KNOB 2 length x2 / half, KNOB 3 transpose).
- hold EDIT+tap OCT-
- Undo (OCT+: redo).

- FILTER: FILT (the sound's DJ filter) and MODL (filter model).

- INSERT: TYPE (SOFT, HARD, FOLD, FUZZ, CRUSH, PHASR, FLANG, CHOR, JUNO...).

- REVERB: TYPE (ROOM, PLATE, HALL, SHIMR), SIZE, DAMP, PRE; DLY 2: MONO, PING, TAPE.

Saving & loading

Recovery
- hold OCT-+power on
- USB rescue mode: reinstall from the web installer.

- Hardware calibration: teach each button and knob.
- hold OCT-+hold OCT+
- Stopped, 5 seconds: UPDATE MODE (letting go earlier cancels).
Good to know
- One instrument: no tracks, no drums, no song; the sequencer is one pattern for the sound.
- A short tap of SEQ, SEL, EDIT, ARP or GLO opens its pages; held, it is a layer for the keys and knobs.
- Autosave: stop and leave it 2.5 s; it comes back as you left it at power-on.
- Empty pattern, REC armed: play freely, REC on the next downbeat closes the loop and sets the tempo.
- NOTES page: PRESETS zooms (8 to 64 steps), EDIT tapped deletes the note, OCT+ held: SLIDE, NUDGE, FILL, MOVE, COPY, DELETE.
- GLO > MIDI: IN CH (OMNI or 1-16), OUT, BEND range, LOCAL; MIDI 2: PROG, SEND CC, EWI. Menu > MIDI: CLOCK OUT, MPE.
- GLO > TUNING: tuning system, its root and A4 from 400 to 480 Hz.
- Experimental release: back up with the web editor before installing.
