Getting around
- tap HOME
- Home screen; tap again for MIXER, then CLOCK.

- Open the menu; HOME closes it again.

- Select track 1-4 (works on every page).

- A page button opens its page; tap again for the next.
- hold GLO
- FX, GLO, SEL, EDIT, SEQ, REC held: a shortcut map appears.
- GLO twice
- Keep that shortcut layer open hands-free; tap once to close.
- turn PRESETS+tap OCT+
- In the menu: pick a row, change its value (OCT- back).
Playing
- tap PLAY
- Start or stop the sequencer.
- turn PRESETS
- Next or previous sound for the selected track.
- tap OCT+
- Keys an octave up (OCT- down, both together: reset).
- turn SELECT
- Tempo (BPM).
- hold FX+hold white key 1-14
- Hold an effect: repeat, reverse, tape stop, freeze, filter...
- hold FX+turn KNOB 1
- Performance macros: KNOB 1-4 filter, crush, throw, depth.
- hold GLO+tap black key 1-4
- Mute or unmute tracks 1-4.
- hold GLO+hold white key 1-4
- Solo tracks 1-4 while held; KNOB 1-4 set track levels.
- hold GLO+tap PLAY
- Restart from the top without stopping.
Sound
- turn KNOB 1
- On HOME: KNOB 1-4 are the engine's four main controls.
- hold EDIT+tap white key 1-13
- Pick the engine: ANALOG, FM6, ... DRUM.
- tap EDIT
- Engine pages: EDIT 1, EDIT 2, then VOICE (poly, glide).
- tap ENV
- Envelope: KNOB 1-4 attack, decay, sustain, release.
- tap LFO
- LFO; tap on for LFO 2, LFO DEST, MOD matrix.
- hold LFO+turn KNOB 1
- Temporary tweak: snaps back on release (OCT+ keeps it).
- tap FX
- Track sends: distortion, chorus, delay, reverb; tap on for more.
- tap SEL
- Scale page: root, scale, quantize, transpose; again: CHORD.
- hold SEL+tap any key
- Set the track's root note to that key.
- tap ARP
- Arpeggiator: KNOB 1 mode (OFF = off), rate, octaves, gate.
Sequencer / patterns
- tap SEQ
- STEP page: piano roll, or drum grid on a DRUM track.
- tap REC
- On STEP while stopped: keys write steps at the cursor.
- tap REC
- Elsewhere: arm the track and record live (tap again: disarm).
- turn KNOB 1
- On STEP: move the cursor; KNOB 2 note, KNOB 3 length.
- tap EDIT
- On STEP: clear the step at the cursor.
- tap white key 1-16
- Drum grid: toggle steps 1-16; black keys 1-8 pick the drum.
- hold SEQ+tap white key
- SEQ TOOLS: clear, reverse, shift, random, cook, euclid...
- hold SEQ+turn KNOB 1
- Pattern length; KNOB 2-4 division, swing, gate.
- hold SEQ+tap OCT-
- Undo every tool change made since SEQ was held.
Saving & loading

- Save the sound to a user slot (stop first).
- hold SAVE
- Undo the last sound load or sequence tool.

Recovery

- Panel calibration: press each control it names.

- 5 seconds: update (boot) mode; let go earlier to cancel.
- hold HOME+turn ALGORITHM
- Menu SYSTEM tab: RESTORE LAST OFF starts empty, no autosave.
Good to know
- Default tracks: 1 ANALOG acid, 2 FM6 pad, 3 LOFI lead, 4 DRUM kit.
- Your music is autosaved when stopped and idle, and comes back at power-on.
- MIDI IN by default: channels 1-4 play tracks 1-4.
- Turn on MENU > SYSTEM > HELP for key hints on every page.
- Back to the stock firmware: the web installer's Return to official V15, or M-VAVE's updater.
