Good to know

  • Edits are lost when you turn PRESETS; tap SAVE first. Factory patches are never overwritten, a quick save goes to a user slot named *Name.
  • An empty user slot (USER A / USER B) loads a plain saw init patch: a clean start for your own sound.
  • The 106 classic: a saw or pulse pad with chorus II, or I+II for the fast vibrato-like shimmer.
  • Over USB MIDI it plays on any channel and takes CCs: 74 cutoff, 71 resonance, 73/75/70/72 attack/decay/sustain/release, 1 DCO LFO, 64 sustain pedal. It is also a USB audio interface.
  • Something wrong after an update? Hold OCT- while powering on: USB rescue screen for reinstalling. Holding OCT-, OCT+ and HOME for 5 s also enters UPDATE MODE.

A community cheat sheet by the hub, not by the firmware's makers: when in doubt, their manual is right.
