Good to know

  • Start with 01 ENSEMBLE (the classic 8' + 4' strings), 03 SHINE PAD (wide, phased, big plate) and 12 PHASED STR.
  • The ensemble is the sound: on PERFORM, KNOB 4 (DEPTH) takes it from still to swirling; FX page 1 KNOB 1 picks MONO, STEREO or WIDE.
  • Registers mix like drawbars: turn VIOLA and VIOLIN down, CELLO up, and the same keys play cellos. SPLIT puts the bass section under the low keys.
  • An edited sound shows * after its name; turn PRESETS before saving and the edit is gone. SAVE arms for 3 seconds (SAVE?).
  • Track B can play sound A or its own program; with B chosen and its own sound, the panel edits B (orange B in the header). The effects are sound A's.
  • Something wrong after an update? Hold OCT- while powering on: USB rescue screen for reinstalling.

A community cheat sheet by the hub, not by the firmware's makers: when in doubt, their manual is right.
